Saturday, December 23rd: Nelson's Bar, Southsea.

This will be our 9th visit of the year, to what's become a regular and favourite venue of ours.

This will be one of two Pre-Xmas gigs for us.

​

The venue is a very pleasant, well run place which is the social centre for a Holiday Home/Caravan park which attracts a varied crowd of holiday makers, people who live on the site and locals and is purpose built for music nights, having a well defined stage/dance floor area.

​

They serve food here, although its probably best to book, if you wish to eat and the staff are all very friendly.

If you book it's best to ask for a table "with a view of the band!" ;O)

​

We've thoroughly enjoyed our gigs here and are booked here for New Year's Eve 2017.

​

If you want a nice night out with a lively, friendly crowd and good sing-a-long with a few obligatory Xmas numbers thrown in then why not come and join us.

Sunday, December 24h, Xmas Eve: The Barley Mow, Castle Rd, Southsea.

​

Xmas wouldn't be Xmas without our annual Xmas Eve bash at The Barley.

We've played this gig so often, that we've forgotten how many times we've done so! ;O)

For us, this is the only place to be on Xmas Eve.

​

It's always been a magical night, with a great crowd, some local and many friends and followers, who are up for a good sing-a-long to many of our favourite songs and a smattering of Xmas Songs thrown in.

​

The venue will look amazing, decked out in wonderful decorations and a monster tree and Judy, the Landlady normally lays on tasty nibbles during the break between sets.

​

So, if you want to start Xmas off with a memorable bang, then, why not join us, you'll get some idea of a recent Xmas Eve, by checking out the video of "Fairytale of New York" on  our "videos" page on this sight.

Word of warning, it can be standing room only fairly quickly, so if you want a "seat with a view," then it's best to  arrive early and bag a table! ;O)

Sunday, 31st of December, New Year's Eve: Nelson's Bar, Southsea.

This will be (obviously) our final gig of 2017 and what better way to do it than our 10th visit of the year to what's become one of our favourite venues!

​

There's sure to be a sizeable crowd attending, to what looks like being a wonderful night to see in the New Year, with local punters, friends and family.

​

This venue is purpose built for music, so why not come along and join us for a good sing-a-long and also dancing to not only our songs, but to songs which will be played in between sets and after we finish provided by yours truly on the iPod! ;O)

It could be a very late one!

A Buffet meal will provided during the evening, but I need to mention that there is a £10 entry price charged on the doors, which open at 7.00 p.m. so, as with the Barley, it's worth getting there early, if you want to get a good seat.
